Politics

Politics in late Sol is the struggle to govern corporate sovereignty without ever admitting that corporate sovereignty is the problem. The central institutions of the age do not abolish competition. They meter it. They convert open war into priced risk, rebellion into insurable disruption, and social breakdown into something that can still be entered on a balance sheet.

Politics in Aetheria is the operational language through which institutions decide what may be destroyed, who may move, which conflicts count as legitimate, and how much instability a market order can absorb without losing faith in its own continuity. For ordinary people, that order is felt through access to necessities, recognition, and exit: who can move without debt bondage, whose consciousness counts as a rights-bearing subject, and who gets classified as a threat before they can organize. It is not a layer floating above material life. It is the way material life gets administered.

This branch tracks the doctrines, constraints, and enforcement systems that keep violence, logistics, and sovereignty legible to powers that cannot afford open collapse.
