Lagrange Broadcast War

Date: 2812-2818
Location: Earth-Moon L4 and L5
Primary actors: Lucent Media, Sol Dominion, pirate relays, PSC sanctions boards

The Lagrange Broadcast War was fought over media infrastructure dense enough to shape the emotional climate of the inner system. Sol Dominion treated the Lagrange transmission webs as a strategic governance asset. Lucent Media treated them as the sovereign core of its entire business model. Neither side was wrong.

Open kinetic exchanges remained limited, but signal hijacking, dock seizures, copy theft, escort raids, and sanction spirals made the conflict one of the defining struggles of the late 29th century. Lucent ultimately retained decisive cultural control by proving it could route around partial physical losses faster than the Dominion could narratively stabilize them.

The war marks the moment many observers stopped treating media power as secondary to territorial power.
