Urban Sovereignty War
Date: 2920-2945
Location: Earth arcologies and orbital governance infrastructure
Primary actors: Sol Dominion, remnant municipal sovereignties, Baseline League, corporate security forces
The Urban Sovereignty War was the long consolidation struggle through which Sol Dominion converted Earth from a collage of hollow civic shells and corporate enclaves into the administrative core of a more explicit imperial order. Municipal governments, arcology boards, populist militias, and baseline resistance blocs all fought to keep some measure of local rule.
The Dominion won through a mix of infrastructure leverage, predictive policing, elite coalition-building, and calibrated brutality. It did not “liberate” Earth from corporate rule. It rationalized corporate rule into a more centralized and disciplined form.
After the war, Earth ceased to be merely symbolic. It became the polished command theater from which late Sol claimed the right to manage everyone else’s future.
