Corriedales is Lucent Media’s family-entertainment brand. It makes toys, mascots, living companion organisms, and products sold as “safe” spectacle. Their cuteness often hides brutal labor, surveillance, or functions designed to control behavior.
Corriedales also designs its products to shape people’s feelings. Children grow attached to them early in life, learning to find comfort in things engineered to influence them. Across late Sol, this makes coercion easier to accept: when Lucent later manipulates people, its interventions can feel like affection from a familiar companion. Corriedales helps make that intimacy familiar long before people encounter Lucent’s wider machinery of influence.
